2019 Fall Class - Grievance Handling (Tuesdays)

Grievance Handling

This course teaches the skills needed to represent workers with grievances.  Topics include: what is and is not a grievance; proper grievance investigation techniques; and written grievance presentation skills.  Prerequisites: None.

Class will meet every Tuesday for 4 weeks, starting on October 1st.  Morning and evening sessions are available.  Participants must attend 3 out of 4 sessions in order to receive a certificate.  Certificates will be handed out during graduation on October 29th, 2019 during the normal scheduled class times.

Morning classes meet from 10am-12pm.  Evening classes meet from 5pm-6pm.  Sessions take place on October 1, 8, 15, 22.

Participants MUST register through their local union in order to attend classes.  There is no cost for attending these classes.  An officer of the local union must verify that the participant is a UAW Region 1 member in good standing.
