Events

July is packed with opportunities for UAW Region 1 members to connect, learn, and engage through a variety of meetings, trainings, and community events. The month begins with the Retired Workers Executive Board Meeting on July 6, followed by the Retired Workers Legislative Committee Meeting on July 7. On July 15, Region 1 will host both the Women's Council Meeting and the Men's Council Quarterly Meeting. Activities continue on July 21 with the Retired Workers Consumer Affairs Meeting, the Retired Workers Education Committee Meeting, and the CAP Council Quarterly Meeting, before retired members gather for the annual Region 1 Retired Workers Picnic on July 22. Community service remains a priority with the 13th Annual Southeast Michigan Veterans Stand Down Homeless Veterans Golf Outing on July 25 in New Haven, and the month concludes with the Region 1 Local Union Financial Training, taking place July 28–30 in Warren.
