UAW Region 1 and Region 1A Primary Election Endorsements for 2022. Please share with your members and family. Candidates were screened and selected by fellow UAW members, based on the candidates displaying their willingness and proven action of supporting the values and goals of the labor union movement. If you are interested in participating in the screening process, please contact your local union CAP Chair and/or President.

Buying union-made, American-made products supports keeping jobs here in the United States, which helps the whole of the American economy.  For every one manufacturing job created in the US, 3.4 nonmanufacturing jobs are created.

Before making any vehicle purchase, check the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to find where it was made.  The first character (number or letter) of the VIN tells you the vehicle's country of origin.

Every union-represented employee has rights that are protected by law. One advantage you have as a union member is the right to have a union representative with you when your employer asks you to answer questions that could lead to your discipline or employment termination.
