2024 Spring/Summer Class Schedule

We strive to make a variety of educational opportunities available for our members in UAW Region 1.  As we continue to grow our education program, we are excited to announce the introduction of a wide-ranging workshop schedule starting this spring 2024!

Workshops are open to all active and retired members in good standing in Region 1.  UAW membership status will be verified and you must be in good standing to participate.  There is no cost to register for these classes and members are encouraged to attend on a voluntary basis.  Workshops will be offered at a variety of times and dates to accommodate various work schedules.  As always, members should speak to their local union leadership and follow local protocol for any questions related to union leave.

Unless otherwise noted, all classes will take place at UAW Region 1: 27800 George Merrelli Dr, Warren, MI 48092

Detailed descriptions of many of these workshops can be found in our 2024 Workshop Catalog.

More classes may be added to the schedule throughout the spring and summer months, so members should check back here for the most up-to-date information.  All class sizes will be capped, and registration will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.  If any class reaches capacity, members can join a waitlist to be added later if space becomes available.  We ask that members cancel their registration if they are no longer able to attend a session, so that we can give that seat to someone on the waitlist.

Members should self-register using this online form:

Requests for additional class topics and questions about this program can be directed to Susie Reed at [email protected] or (586) 427-9200.  We look forward to seeing you in class!
