Registration Deadline – Tuesday, June 25, 2019
The 2019 International UAW Women’s Conference will convene on Sunday, July 28th at 5 p.m. in the Lecture Hall of the UAW Family Education Center and will conclude on Friday morning, August 2nd.
Delegates will register on July 28, 2019, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Lecture Hall. A gift basket auction will be held at the conference to benefit the UAW Women’s Department Scholarship Fund. This fund is for UAW Women’s Conference delegates from IPS and TOP locals. Your local Women’s Committee is encouraged to donate a basket for this worthwhile cause.
Registration forms with checks (or money orders) should be returned to UAW Region 1, 27800 George Merrelli Dr., Warren, MI 48092 in the amount of $625, payable to International Union, UAW. Please include the form with your check. Space is limited, so you will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registration fees, lost time and travel expenses are the responsibility of the local union. Delegates from the same local union will be expected to travel together whenever possible. Mileage is NOT reimbursed for the first 1,000 miles round trip. Due to limited space, we cannot accommodate spouses for this program. Only North American/union-made vehicles with Vehicle Identification Numbers that begin with 1, 2, 4 or 5 are permitted on center property.
All cancellations must be submitted to Region at least 10 working days prior to the conference so that reservations can be reallocated. Refunds will only be granted for valid emergency reasons until July 12th. No refunds will be given after Friday, July 12th.
