About the Contest
What: UAW Women-Making Strides T-Shirt Design Contest
When: May 11, 2019- July 19, 2019
Where: Designs may be submitted via email at [email protected]
Who: All UAW Region 1 Women’s Committee Members in good standing with the UAW are invited to participate. The winning t-shirt design will be produced by one of the UAW’s approved vendors and sold to and including at the Making Strides Walk this October. The winner’s Local Women’s Committee will be presented an award. All other designs will be held and considered for future production and distribution.
Why: The Second Annual Official UAW Women-Making Strides T-Shirt.
How does it work?
Create your UAW Women-Making Strides t-shirt design following these guidelines:
- JPG, PDF, PNG files are accepted.
- The design should be created for use on either a white or pink t-shirt.
- Official brands, logos, copyrighted work, and trademarks are prohibited for use in the design.
- Use of the UAW logo is permitted. Visit UAW.org to view the UAW official logo.
Fill out the artwork submission form to submit your design.
Designs will be judged based on quality and relevance. The judging panel will consist of the UAW Region 1 Women’s Advisory Council members.
Contest Rules
The UAW Women-Making Strides t-shirt contest is presented by the UAW Region 1 Women’s Advisory Council and is open to all UAW Region 1 Women’s Committee Members in good standing with the UAW. A panel of UAW Region 1 Women’s Advisory Council Members will the winner. The winning design will be produced and sold in the summer and fall of 2019. All designs must be the original artwork of the contestant that has never been published and does not contain profanity, trademarks, logos, or copyrighted works of any other person or business. Use of the UAW logo is permitted. All designs submitted become the property of the UAW Region 1 Women’s Advisory Council. Artists may display their own design(s) in a portfolio or personal collection but may not sell or reproduce the design(s) for any other purpose once submitted to the UAW Women-Making Strides t-shirt design Contest.
