The UAW Region 1 Summer Leadership Institute is a multi-day training event focused on developing and strengthening union leadership skills. Participants can choose from a variety of tracks, including Leadership Roles & Responsibilities, Advanced Grievance Strategies, Bargaining Foundations, Retiree’s and Technology, CAP 2026, and Emerging Leaders. This institute offers an opportunity for members to build knowledge, enhance leadership capacity, and connect with fellow union members.
