UAW Region 1 & RACOCHR - "Warming the Community" Annual Coat Drive

UAW Region 1, in partnership with the Regional Advisory Council on Civil & Human Rights (R.A.C.O.C.H.R.), is proud to present the Warming the Community Coats, Gloves & Blankets Drive, an initiative dedicated to helping families in need stay warm throughout the winter season.

Under the leadership of UAW Region 1 Director LaShawn English, this community service initiative encourages union members and supporters to donate new or gently used coats of all sizes, gloves, and blankets.

Donations will be collected at participating plants from November 9 through December 10, 2026, with a final drop-off at the UAW Region 1 Pavilion on Friday, December 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

All donated items will be distributed to charitable organizations serving families throughout Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, and Wayne counties.
