Events

UAW Region 1 has a full schedule of activities planned throughout September 2026, including CAP Council meetings, the Metro-Detroit AFL-CIO Labor Day March, Veterans Council activities, Retired Workers meetings, Health & Safety Training, and the Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down Event. The month will also include meetings for the Retired Workers Legislative, Education, and Consumer Affairs Committees, along with the Region 1 Women’s Council Quarterly Meeting on September 30. These events provide opportunities for UAW members, retirees, veterans, and leadership to come together in support of union solidarity, labor rights, education, safety, veterans’ services, and community engagement.
