Is The Big Beautiful Bill Really Beautiful?

Trump's Big Beautiful Bill isn't built for workers or the average american. 

It Cuts Medicare & Food Assistance
Hard working union families and our neighbors could lose coverage on food aid - especially important if we're between jobs. People will have to chose between life and/or debt.

Guts Labor Protection
The bill encourages more states to adopt right to work language and directly attacking the Department of Labor by removing funding from OSHA, NLRB and Wage & Hour Division. Eliminating federal support for union led apprenticeship programs and trades training.

Gives Tax Breaks to the Rich
Extends the 2017 Trump Tax cuts which lowered tax rates from 35% to 21%. Raised the estate tax exemption so wealthy families would pay less inheritance tax. these were set t expire in 2025 but this bill would make them permanent. Companies can write off more investments while offshoring jobs. billion dollar companies pay less than union workers in real taxes.

Why Does This Matter For Workers and Unions?
These tax policies widen inequalities, starve public services, force future cuts to programs workers rely on and most importantly.
