Nayeesha is committed to building a stronger, more transparent, and highly engaged union. Under her leadership, Local 155 will focus on:

• Stronger Contracts: Fighting for competitive wages, robust benefits, and safer working conditions at the bargaining table.
• Member Empowerment: Increasing transparency and open communication so every member has a voice in our union's direction.
• Community & Solidarity: Organizing regular member events and educational workshops to build a tighter, more supportive union family.
• Next-Gen Leadership: Mentoring newer members to preserve our local's legacy while adapting to an evolving industry.

Her famous quote "You may think you're smarter than me, but your surely not smarter than us." meaning against the odds,  standing together in solidarity will get the job done.
